On Dec. 27, at 9:10 pm Battlefords RCMP responded to a complaint of a break and enter at a residence on Dunning Crescent, North Battleford, where the suspects discharged a small calibre firearm inside the residence.
No persons at the residence were injured during this incident.
There were two suspects involved in this incident and they fled on foot.
The suspects were tracked to a residential area two blocks away but were not located.
Battlefords Forensic Identification Section has examined the scene and will continue on their portion of the investigation with a number of items recovered from the suspects.
Battlefords Municipal GIS is continuing with this investigation.
