BREDENBURY - Wind up held

The Quad Derby and Trade Show took place at the rink on Sat., May 7 and was sponsored by the Bredenbury Lions Club and Minor Sports. There were approximately 130 machines that took part in the derby.

The Quad Derby and Trade Show took place at the rink on Sat., May 7 and was sponsored by the Bredenbury Lions Club and Minor Sports. There were approximately 130 machines that took part in the derby. The winning riders were: 1st - Dustin Porter, Saltcoats; 2nd - Wade Powell, Melville; 3rd - Brent Repsch, Yorkton. The silent rider winners were: 1st - Nina Ivanochko; 2nd - Margaret Nicholson; 3rd-Louise McLachlan. There were many winners at the silent auction. Thanks to all who participated in any way.

The Lions Club held a Mother's Day Brunch on Sun., May 8. Thanks to all who attended and helped out. It was a very delicious brunch and each lady that attended received a long stem rose.

Bredenbury United Church will hold a Memorial Service on Sun., June 5 at 10 a.m. There will be a service at the church, then to the cemetery to follow. A lunch will served at the church afterwards. Everyone welcome.

Joey Marsey visited his grandparents Vern & Kathy Rodgers for Mother's Day and stayed overnight.

Bredenbury Cougar held their annual wind-up banquet on Sat., May 14 at the Bredenbury Community Hall. Happy hour, a supper and dance followed. Team jackets and hoodies were available for sizing at the wind-up supper.
