Calder Concert well-attended

Once again the Calder Community Hall was filled with families, friends, visitors and our community for the Calder School's Annual Christmas Concert. The Calder students and staff did a wonderful Christmas Concert this year.

Once again the Calder Community Hall was filled with families, friends, visitors and our community for the Calder School's Annual Christmas Concert.

The Calder students and staff did a wonderful Christmas Concert this year.

The Home and School, along with the parents, donated the raffle prizes for the Christmas raffle the night of the Christmas Concert. Congratulations to all the winners of the door raffles. Coffee and cakes were served after the program.

The Good Spirit School Division has announced that there will be a boundary meeting at the Calder School on Mon., Jan. 10, 2011. This meeting will look at existing attendance boundaries (as previously developed) to determine where students are to attend school. These boundaries which have the potential to impact the attendance boundaries of Calder School, Langenburg, Churchbridge, Victoria School in Kamsack, Kamsack Comprehensive Institute, Yorkdale Central School (from east only) and Saltcoats. All parents and ratepayers are encouraged to attend this meeting, so remember to mark this important date on your new calendar. The meeting will be held at the Calder School at 7:00 p.m.

Jeff and Crystal Devins and family travelled from Saltcoats on Christmas Eve to be with Evelyn Antony and family.

Danny and Lorraine Boehm, Jimmy Danylko and Liz Glute spent Christmas Eve with their sister Mary and Fred in Yorkton.

Glen Pryslak of Kelowna B.C. was home visiting with his mother Judy Pryslak and sister Debbie for the Christmas holidays.

Margie Mankish was out in Dryden, Ont. visiting with her daughters, Maryann and Harold Price and family and Donna and Ashley for the Christmas holidays.
