On Monday, September 21, 2020, Mayor Subkow called the council meeting to order with all members present.
The council received the water report from the village foreman, as well as the happenings around the village regarding maintenance.
Carrying on, the council moved to accept the Minutes of the last meeting, before turning the floor over to the Honourable Warren Kaeding, MLA, to discuss water security for the village. With the last water security measures, the village needs to upgrade its water system and has had tremendous difficulty receiving any grants.
Moving on, the council reviewed the Correspondence received by the village over the last month before Councilor Shipp made a motion to receive the Correspondence; the Motion carried.
The Bank Reconciliation report was then reviewed. Councilor Strand made a motion to accept the Bank Reconciliation which was carried.
Financials were reviewed next. After a short discussion, the budget was said to be looking very good. Councilor Strand made the motion to accept the Financial which was carried.
Carrying on, the council reviewed the Accounts Payable. Councilor Shipp made the motion to pay the village’s payables which was carried.
The Administrator Report was next. More than half of what was included in the tax enforcement has been collected. October 7th at 4 P.M. is the deadline for village council nominations. Council was very happy with the Village Administrator efforts. A motion was made by Councilor Strand to accept the Administrators Report which was carried.
