The RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance regarding mischief on Third and Sixth avenues in Canora.
The Canora RCMP are investigating a number of incidents of mischief to motor vehicles where tires have been slashed and vehicles were keyed, according to a police release dated May 30.
On May 28 at approximately 10 a.m., the Canora RCMP received a report that a number of motor vehicles were keyed and tires slashed, the release said. The incidents of mischief occurred on Third and Sixth avenues in Canora sometime between 10 p.m. on the May 27 and 8 a.m. the next morning.
The Canora RCMP are asking for the public’s help in identifying the culprit or culprits responsible, it said. “If you noticed any suspicious person or vehicle overnight, or have been victimized yourself by this criminal act of mischief, please contact the Canora RCMP. Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
