A revision to the traffic bylaw regarding the heavy haul route and a special assessment for water main replacements were among the items of interest to town council at its regular meeting on April 6.
Council amended the traffic bylaw to include all of Daniels Drive in the heavy haul route with a time limit of Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
A bylaw to authorize a special assessment with respect to the undertaking of water main replacements as a local improvement was introduced, read three times and adopted.
Council approved the following non-profit museum grants for 2021:
- Canora Ukrainian Heritage Museum;$2,000
- Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity; $1,000
Council approved the following veteran’s services grant for 2021:
- Royal Canadian Legion – Canora Branch; $750
Council approve the 2020 draft financial statements as presented.
