Local emergency crews were called to Boundary Dam Monday afternoon at about 2:30 p.m. for a report of a capsized watercraft.
Members of the Estevan RCMP, the Estevan Fire Rescue Service and other crews arrived in the area. They found out that four people on a paddleboat had overturned and ended up in the water.
In other recent RCMP news, the RCMP conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Highway 18 just west of Estevan Saturday at approximately 6:55 p.m.
As a result, police arrested a 22-year-old man from Torquay for impaired operation of a motor vehicle.
He is set to appear in Estevan Provincial Court on Sept. 16.
