The Sturgis Horticultural Society hosted its annual spring Green Thumb sale at the Sturgis Community Hall on May 5.
Avid gardeners had the opportunity to check out what was new in flowers, ask questions about the planting season and learn about plant care from members of the Sturgis Horticultural Society.
A variety of certified seed potatoes were available for purchase and new seedlings of household plants were all available to take home.
Bobby Alberts from Prairie Garden Greenhouse had on display a variety of potted flowers and garden seedlings from the greenhouse.
Lunch and refreshments concluded the event.
