At about 00:40 am on July 27, three unknown people attempted to break into a residence in McLean.
The suspects gained access to the house's garage by using the garage door opener that was inside a vehicle that was parked outside of the garage. The home owner heard them and went outside with his dogs.
The three unknown people ran away and got into a dark red pickup truck and left the area. Nothing was taken from the garage but police were not able to locate this vehicle.
