IPs host a six-team tournament on January 16

Preeceville’s youngest hockey players hosted a six-team tournament on January 16 to showcase how much their skills have improved over the season.

Preeceville’s youngest hockey players hosted a six-team tournament on January 16 to showcase how much their skills have improved over the season.

Teams entered along with the hosts were: Kelvington Wheat Kings, Kamsack Flyers, Swan River Squirts, Yorkton Iced Capps and Archerwill-Rose Valley Rams.

            Preeceville faced off against Kamsack for the first game of the day.

            The last game had the Pats come up short when Swan River defeated them 14-8.  Scoring for the Pats were: Trae Peterson ( three goals), Darian Serdachny (three goals), Keltyn Konkel and Amrie Seerey.

            Members of the Preeceville Pats were: Dexter Penner, Connor Burym, Trae Peterson, Carsyn Galiz, Hudson Maier, Darian Serdachny, Seth Reynolds, Ethan Balawyder, Keltyn Konkel, Caeleb Anaka. Levi Maier, Gavin Erickson, Dillon Serdachny and Amrie Seerey. Nathan Maier, Dean Serdachny, and Conrad Peterson were the coaches.
