On May 2, shortly before 1 a.m., Kamsack RCMP were called to a residence on the Cote First Nation for a complaint of a violent break and enter and assault.
The lone adult male individual inside the home was transported to hospital with what were described as serious injuries.
As a result of investigation, three individuals were arrested without incident at a business in Kamsack around 8:30 a.m. the same day.
· Phoenix Shingoose (2002-03-01) is charged with: Break, Enter, and Commit Aggravated Assault – Sec. 348(1)(b) C.C. He appears in Kamsack court next on May 11, 2021.
· Sidney Rogers (2003-03-05) is charged with: Break, Enter, and Commit Aggravated Assault – Sec. 348(1)(b) C.C. He appears in Kamsack court next on May 5, 2021.
· Jamie Quewezance (2002-06-12) is charged with: Break, Enter, and Commit Aggravated Assault – Sec. 348(1)(b) C.C. She appears in Kamsack court next on May 6, 2021.
All three above made a first appearance in court on May 3 in Kamsack, SK.
· A 17-year-old male is also charged with: Break, Enter, and Commit Aggravated Assault – Sec. 348(1)(b) C.C. He cannot be identified as per the Youth Criminal Justice Act. He appeared in court today with a next appearance on May 18 in Kamsack, SK.
