SASKATOON – A man facing child porn charges has been additionally charged with four counts of assaulting a peace officer.
Kyle Mansil Fiddler, 31, has a show cause hearing set for June 2 in Saskatoon Provincial Court on the assault charges.
Fiddler also has multiple child porn charges that haven’t been dealt with yet in the court system. Those charges are from October 2020 when police raided an Estevan home after they received numerous complaints that the accused was sharing child pornography on social media. Police say they found child porn in Fiddler’s home. He was charged with possession of child porn, transmitting child pornography, and failing to comply with a probation order. According to court records, this charge stems from a Toronto Police file where Fiddler was banned from using a computer to communicate with youth under the age of 16. He appears in Estevan Provincial Court June 15 on those charges.
The charges against Fiddler haven’t been proven in court.
Fiddler was first released on bail in November 2020.
