Minhas Sask has announced a major expansion into manufacturing and packaging of wines, ciders, hard root beer, hard iced tea and other coolers. All of these products are being manufactured in our Regina facility, requiring an additional 35 full time, skilled staff including sales staff, marketing personnel, blenders, distillers, packaging staff and mechanics.
The company now has more than 40 products and has started one of the most extensive marketing campaigns in Western Canada for the launch of alcohol brands, including social media, television, radio and print advertising.
Being hyper-local, a lot of products are named after various Saskatchewan towns to highlight the uniqueness of this province. Some examples include Craven, Moose Jaw, Wascana Creek, etc. with many products’ labels & artwork paying tribute to the great Province of Saskatchewan.
A patio has recently been added to the Tap room and Retail Store in Regina. A Saskatoon Retail store and warehouse has also been opened to the public. Federal and SLGA License for the brewery has been obtained, and brewing is about to start in 2 weeks, requiring additional staff of 10 brewers.
