New Doctor joins staff in Preeceville

Doctor Ali Amin Lari joined the staff at the Preeceville and District Health Centre in the Primary Health Care Clinic on February 3. He studied at the University of Medical Sciences in Shiraz, Iran and graduated from the university in 2000.

Doctor Ali Amin Lari joined the staff at the Preeceville and District Health Centre in the Primary Health Care Clinic on February 3.

He studied at the University of Medical Sciences in Shiraz, Iran and graduated from the university in 2000. He practiced medicine in Shiraz for 17 years prior to coming to Toronto in 2017.

His wife, Adele is a licensed pharmacist who has already passed her Canadian exam to be able to practice in Canada. While in Toronto, Amin Lari worked on passing his national exam to be able to practice medicine.

After he passed his exam, the couple moved to Preeceville to begin his first practice in Canada. He signed a three-year agreement with the Town of Preeceville and said he is very encouraged and excited to meet everyone and work with the established physicians already doctoring in Preeceville.

He is a general practitioner who is interested in chronic pain and generic diseases like   heart, diabetes and associated diseases.

The Town of Preeceville council and staff had previously met with him in November when he first toured the Town.

"I am looking forward to working with the friendly hospital staff and meeting the public," he said.

The couple enjoys reading, watching movies and exploring the outdoors.
