Canadian Geographic launched a new interactive website, Influenza, that delivers educational resources about the seasonal flu in a novel and creative way. Approximately 10 – 20% of Canada's population catches the seasonal flu every year, leading to roughly 12,200 hospitalizations and 3,500 deaths. Canadian Geographic created Influenzain partnership with Sanofi Pasteur to educate users with carefully researched information about Influenza A and the flu vaccine.

Users of this website can follow three different characters (one at a time, of course) through a typical Canadian flu season in a choose-your-own-adventure type narrative. Players will learn detailed information about the science and history behind Influenza A and the flu vaccine along the way. Try all three characters to decide who should get their flu shot or find out what happens if they don't.

Can you make it through the season without catching the flu?
