Kamsack RCMP are currently investigating several complaints of theft and of suspicious activity in the Kamsack area.
A lone female has been targeting elderly persons and using excuses such as needing water or having a broken down vehicle in order to gain entry into their houses and would then steal their belongings, said a release from the RCMP.
The RCMP reminds people that while it is always considerate to be helpful, one must take precautions when situations like these arise.

the deceased male and the two accused youth had some interaction followed by a physical altercation at a park in Yorkton.
The deceased male has been identified in a release from the Yorkton RCMP as Lawrence Skoretz, a 67-year-old Yorkton man who previously had lived in Canora.
Two male youths from the Yorkton area were located and arrested without incident on September 22 in relation to the death.
The suspects have been charged with one count of first degree murder and one count of robbery with violence.
Both accused are remanded into custody and made their first court appearance at Yorkton Provincial Court on September 23.
The RCMP is continuing to investigate the death.
