Preeceville Atom Pats start season off with huge win

The Preeceville Atom Pats hockey team kicked off the season with a huge win against Canora on November 8. In Canora on Sunday, the many practices paid off as the Pats took an early lead and never looked back for a 10-1 win.

            Chaz Jaeb was the first to put one between the posts followed by two goals by Kaiden Masley. Each goal was unassisted. In the second period, Gerbo Javelona, scored once, Zachary Sorgen scored twice and Nathan Anaka and Kaiden Masley each scored once. Zander Purdy scored the only other goal in the second, assisted by Masley.

            Chaz Jaeb scored the last goal in the third period, unassisted.

            The Pats’ next game is scheduled for November 14 when they play host to Wynyard. It will be an exhibition game.
