The Preeceville School will be celebrating the accomplishments of students and staff during Education Week being held October 16 to 22.
"The theme for this year's Education Week is “Celebrating Today. Preparing for Tomorrow," said Doug King, principal.
On Monday will be the bus driver appreciation day and the Kindergarten to Grade 6 students will be reading to parents in recognition of Library Week, King said. Tuesday will feature a school-wide picnic and parents and guardians will be encouraged to bring a blanket to join their children for the picnic.
Wednesday will feature an open house with a Panther showcase of booths in the gymnasium. Thursday will be a sports awareness day with students encouraged to wear their favourite jerseys. It will include a fun game with teachers taking on the students.
Friday will conclude the week with a nutrition break provided by the Preeceville School staff.
