Reminder: Special Public Meeting Thursday

Forum gives the public an open mike

Residents of Outlook who have an interest in what’s going on behind the scenes in their community are being reminded that there is a special public meeting tomorrow night – Thursday, November 30 – that will be held at the Civic Centre starting at 7:00 pm.

The meeting was called by Outlook’s town council and will give people the chance to share any comments and concerns with their local officials, as well as pose any questions they may have as it relates to the town.  The event will be moderated and give the taxpaying public an open mike to share their thoughts and speak their minds.

Council and Mayor Ross Derdall welcome a discussion and questions on a variety of topics, noting at their most recent meeting that it’s important to stay accessible and to be open with the public on the decisions that council was elected to make on their behalf.

This newspaper encourages Outlook residents to attend tonight’s meeting and stay informed of the issues and topics related to the town, and have your say on what’s going on in your own backyard, neighbourhood and community.
