SALTCOATS - Annual craft sale set for community Nov. 5

The annual Craft Sale and Trade Show is Sat., Nov. 5 at Saltcoats Town Hall from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. There is chili on a bun for noon lunch. A loonie gets you in the door and a chance at the door prizes. Sun., Nov. 6, 2:00 p.m.

The annual Craft Sale and Trade Show is Sat., Nov. 5 at Saltcoats Town Hall from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. There is chili on a bun for noon lunch. A loonie gets you in the door and a chance at the door prizes.

Sun., Nov. 6, 2:00 p.m. at Saltcoats Town Hall is a Children's Show by Brenda Baker. Tickets are $10 at the door (family rate $40) and a time of fun, laughter and song is yours!

The regular seniors meeting is Thurs., Nov. 10 at 10:00 a.m. in the Stirling Room.

Nov. 11 will have a march past the monument that meets at the school at 10:40 a.m. The Remembrance service is at the Town Hall followed by fellowship time. It is appreciated that members of the public donate to this.

The annual United Church "Turkey and all the Trimmings" supper is Sat., Nov. 19 at Saltcoats Town Hall from 4:30 p.m.-6:00 p.m.

"Pianos and More" is performed on Sun., Nov. 20 at 2:00 p.m. at the Saltcoats and District Community Hall. The cost at the door is $10, 12 years and under free.

The regular NOON Luncheon at the Stirling Room is Nov. 21. This is open to the public and a donation basket helps defray the Laketown Leaders club expenses.

There will be a Recreation Board Meeting at Saltcoats School on Mon., Nov. 21 at 7:00 p.m. This is an open meeting where organizations may send a representative to disseminate the Lottery Community Grant.

Laketown Leaders will be hosting bingo on Thurs., Nov. 24 at 1:30 p.m.

Saltcoats Library will be putting on a fundraiser Soup, Sandwich, and Dessert Lunch on Mon., Nov. 28.

Sun., Dec. 4 at 2:00 p.m. is the "Spirit of Christmas" concert at Saltcoats Town Hall. The refreshment Christmas cookies that are donated by the public are greatly enjoyed. This event is a free will donation which is given to the hall as thanks for the use of the space.

If you enjoy singing or listening, join the "Spirit of Christmas" as it continues on Dec. 11 and 18 for more carol singing and a cup of tea or coffee after. All this is at Saltcoats Town Hall.
