Saskatoon – 27 charges result from one traffic stop

SASKATOON — Three people are facing a total of 27 charges after a loaded shotgun was found during an early morning traffic stop Monday in Saskatoon.

At 3 a.m., March 14, patrol officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of 20th Street and Avenue H South. The driver, a 26-year-old woman, did not have a valid driver's license and was also found to have an outstanding warrant for her arrest.

Further investigation located a loaded shotgun concealed underneath the driver's seat. The two other passengers, men ages 28 and 31, were also arrested.

The three occupants are facing a combined total of 27 charges.
