SASKATOON - Update:  George Manitoken, the subject of a missing person investigation, has been located safe. The SPS would like to thank members of the public and the media for their assistance in this matter.

Original story: Saskatoon Police Service are requesting the public’s help locating a missing 58-year-old man.

George Manitoken was last seen at noon leaving a residence in the 400 block of Ave R N.

There are concerns for Manitoken's welfare as he may be in a vulnerable state.

Manitoken is Indigenous, five-foot-nine and 145 pounds. He has medium skin, medium build, shorter black hair and short black beard, brown eyes, and and no teeth. It is unknown what he was wearing at the time. 

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of George Manitoken is asked to contact the Saskatoon Police Service at 306-975-8300 or, in an emergency, 9-1-1. Anonymous information can also be provided to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
