Summer fun program hosted in Preeceville and Sturgis

Children in the local area can take ad-vantage of the summer fun program and come out to have some summer fun through games, crafts and many more activities. The program is run through the months of July and August in both Preeceville and Sturgis.

Kelsey Kosheluk and Britney Vewchar are the instructors for the summer fun program sponsored by the Family Resource Centre. The program is being held in Preeceville and Sturgis in the months of July and August. The group was photographed playing mini golf in Preeceville on July 7.

Children in the local area can take ad-vantage of the summer fun program and come out to have some summer fun through games, crafts and many more activities. The program is run through the months of July and August in both Preeceville and Sturgis.

School is out for the summer and the summer fun program offers a variety of events and activities for children to participate in during the summer months. These activities include, arts, crafts, co-operative games, sports introduction, outdoor activities, storytelling, special events plus much more.

“The program is implemented for children five to 12 years of age and will be hosted in Preeceville and in Sturgis during the two months,” said Karolyn Kosheluk, Family Resource Centre co-ordinator. The program is hosted at the Sturgis High School and at the Preeceville Legion Hall. The program features activities geared towards summer fun sports, crafts and games.
 
The program was organized by the Family Resource Centre, and is sponsored by the Community Initiatives Fund.
