Veteran’s Week has been declared in Yorkton for Nov. 5-to-11.
It was a unanimous decision by Yorkton Council after receiving the request from the General Alexander Rose Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion.
The flag of remembrance will be raised at City Hall Saturday, Nov. 5, to mark the week.
In addition, the Legion will attend nursing homes, and schools with colour parties leading up to Nov 11.
Remembrance Day services will again be held at the Nexera Flexihall, Friday, Nov. 11..
