Columbia School has committed to educating their students on the holodomor, one of Stalin’s most egregious attempts to bend Ukranians to Soviet will in the 1930s.

The Sturgis branch of the Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation honoured avid hunters and fishermen at the annual banquet and trophy night on April 13 at the Sturgis Community Hall.

The Big Brothers Big Sisters Yorkton will be offering a summer camp this year. The Community Connections Kids In Action program helps kids become more engaged in the community through sport and recreational activities.

A Kamsack foursome beat out 21 rinks to take the top spot in the annual Kamsack Curling Club Mixed Bonspiel. On March 27 to 30 the annual bonspiel had a total of 22 teams competing for a top prize payout of $320 at the Broda Sportsplex.
