During the Decoration Day reception at the Kamsack Legion Hall on June 2, Jim Woodward, president of the Kamsack branch of the Royal Canadian Legion, was presented with the Sovereign’s Medal for Volunteers.

Saskatchewan’s population continues to grow, reaching 1,169,131 people as of April 1, 2019, according to new figures released by Statistics Canada today. This is an increase of 10,295 people in the past year and 708 people in the past quarter.
