An annual event sponsored by Legion members to honour veterans was held on Sunday. The Remembrance Day Tea, which this year included a Cookie Walk fundraiser, was held at the Legion Hall.

Under cloudy skies a tent was set up in the parking lot of the River Valley Dental clinic on Friday to help the community celebrate the grand opening and ribbon-cutting event.

The Preeceville Arena canola fundraiser harvest was finished on October 18. The canola field was located approximately one mile west of Preeceville and was a volunteer effort.
