Meal served with safety message

The Outlook/ Elbow RCMP want to remind people that with the warm weather comes an increase in property crime. Please check your properties, garages and outbuildings and ensure they are secured.

Business is as usual at Nykolaishen Farm Equipment at Kamsack and Swan River and at Nykolaishen Ag Central in Kamsack, following the purchase of the businesses by Pattison Agriculture.

“Before you go out, the candle goes out,” Ken Eskdale of Regina, the Stop Burn Injuries chair and instructor for the Wa Wa Shriners, told Victoria School students from Kindergarten to Grade 4 last week.

Victoria School hosted its seventh Early Childhood family event of the 2016-2017 school year on March 29.

This month, which is one month shy of its 61 st anniversary, the Kamsack Royal Purple Elks is being disbanded. “We are happy to say we have had almost 61 years of bonding friendship and Purpledom,” said Eva Moskal, secretary.

Members of the Norquay branch of the Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation who had success as big game hunters and with rods and reels, were recognized at the group’s annual awards banquet held April 1 at the Communiplex.
