There will be a lot less flag raisings by the City of Yorkton moving forward.

Yorkton Council gave final approval Monday to borrow $6.2 million to fund Re-Construction and Underground Utility Replacement on Dracup Avenue from Broadway Street to York Road.

The City of Yorkton financial statements for 2016 have been audited. And Monday at its regular meeting Yorkton Council approved that auditor’s report.

Family, friends and classmates shared in the celebration of 19 Preeceville School graduates on May 19, when awards and scholarships were presented at the graduation exercises at the Preeceville Skating Arena.
