Families looking for a fun afternoon, especially if they are interested in helping to support the school band program, will be at the Kamsack Comprehensive Institute on March 11 attending the second annual winter carnival.

Victoria School’s Early Childhood Family events, which are aimed at Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten families, have continued to be a huge success, according to Chantel Kitchen, a teacher involved with the program.

Bert Suknasky, a Sturgis town councillor, received a positive impression from the SUMA (Saskatchewan Urban Municipalities Association) convention held in Saskatoon February 4 to 8. "The convention was very informative," said Suknasky.
