On June 17, Saskatchewan Games named Access7 the broadcast sponsor for the Estevan 2016 Saskatchewan Summer Games.

With an accelerated plan to close the Sunrise Health District’s regional laundry facility in Yorkton, its last day was Friday instead of September 11.

At a special meeting on June 8, Canora town council accepted a tender from Federowich Construction Ltd. to do the town’s proposed paving for 2015. Federowich Construction’s bid was $901,180.20 and the work was to have begun on June 15.

With anticipated revenues and expenditures in excess of $80 million, the Good Spirit School Division board passed the 2015/2016 budget at its June 17 regular meeting.

The Bredenbury Golf Course is now open with six brand new artificial greens that have turned out to be fantastic. The golf club will use the garden shed for a temporary club house. Hopefully construction will start on a new one in a new location.
