The boys are back on the diamonds. After the uncertainty of COVID-19 put the 2020 summer season in question for minor baseball teams in Yorkton, Saskatchewan and Canada, at least some teams,are back in action.

The Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling announced Wednesday it has delayed the start of its 2020-21 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The first four events on the fall schedule have been postponed.

Saskatchewan’s annual summer free fishing weekend is July 11 and 12. On this weekend, residents and visitors can fish in any of Saskatchewan’s public waters open to sport fishing, no licence required.

The disc golf course is returning to Rodney Ridge. While the baskets were removed following complaints from some residents in the area, council addressed the concerns of area residents and voted to reinstate the course.
