The Yorkton Harvest ended their exhibition action on a sour note. A Tristan Elder shorthanded goal in the last three minutes of the game led to the Harvest dropping their Sunday game 5-3 against the Tisdale Trojans in the Farrell Agencies Arena.

This Saturday, Motocross racers from all of Saskatchewan are coming to Yorkton. "It should be a very exciting event," said Rick Dawson, a promoter of the races. "Lots of racers are taking part and it will be Yorkton's last race on the year.

Sacred Heart Girls Soccer team hosted their annual soccer tournament on Sept. 13-14.

The Saskatchewan Roughriders lost their second straight game on Saturday for the first time this season. In the 31-29 loss to the Toronto Argonauts at Mosaic Stadium, the Riders were in the game up until the last seconds.

The Yorkton Harvest hit the road this past week with three exhibition games on their schedule.
