I’ll call my ninety-three year old dad on Father’s Day. He’ll call me “Sweetheart” and tell me how much he loves me. And once again, he’ll cry and thank me for making the time. “I love talking to you, Dad,” I say. And I do.

I’m still reading a great library book, “1519 All-Natural, All-Amazing Gardening Secrets” from the Reader’s Digest.

And so we start the process to reveal what I rate the top Canadian board game.

In 1988, NEC of Japan released the CD-ROM² System, an add-on for their PC Engine console. While most games at the time were based on the cartridge format, the CD offered new frontiers of storage.

Think of any of the world’s most horrible or evil atrocities to have ever happened. It’s not hard, is it? The Holocaust, the 9/11 plane crashes, the Sandy Hook school shooting; I could (sadly) go on and on. So do you have one in mind? Okay.

Sound comes to the big screen, but brings with it other problems.

To live in rural Saskatchewan these days means to do without something else. Perhaps this isn’t so different than the norm in rural Saskatchewan for years.
