Dear Editor: Greg Ottenbreit’s response to the January 4, 2017 editorial said that “controlling government spending and the careful management of taxpayers’ dollars does not harm the economy.” It’s too bad this isn’t what the Sask.

The consequences of driving while impaired became greater effective Jan. 1 this year. Two of the biggest changes have seen tougher penalties, and lower general tolerance for driving with smaller levels of blood alcohol content (BAC).

The winter wind battered the house last night, howling down the chimney like a wild thing wanting in. All night I cheered it on, remembering the worms.
