Dear Editor: We watched a very old political trick be performed by the City of Yorkton council.

Dear Editor: When our grandfathers and great grandfathers pulled up on the scales of their local elevators in 1900 they had a team and wagon. They found themselves on a very uneven playing field.

Welcome to Week CXCI I of ‘Fishing Parkland Shorelines’. Like most of us I am a novice fisherman, loving to fish, but far from an expert.

Yorkton Council has made it clear they intend to go through a process of reviewing all areas of operation looking for ways to save money, streamline service, or do things in more efficient ways.
