I put a dove on the top of my Christmas tree this year. The grandbeans wonder why. I told them, “just because.” Because I hadn’t found the chief angel yet when I decorated the tree. Because I had already hung a chorus of angels on the lower branches.

Dear Editor: When I received the Dec. 3 edition of Yorkton This Week I glanced at the headlines and then immediately turned to the “History Corner” to see what gem Terri Lefebvre Prince has featured.

In a country as affluent as Canada, we sometimes let our minds slip from the reality that not everyone can meet all the costs of paying the regular bills, and still have money left over to make the holiday season special.
