Some people knit with yarn. I knit with words. In my decades of writing I’ve spent countless hours at my computer, knitting columns, stories, articles and books. But one day I carelessly left them out for the digital cat to find.

We really ought to demand more from our role models. During the recent Olympics, I was disgusted when Michael Phelps showed up on the pool deck for the first time. As soon as I saw the circular bruises all over his torso, I was crestfallen.

Dear Editor: I am shocked to hear about the fact that the administration of the Yorkton Regional High School has eliminated the long standing choral program from its course offerings.

Dear Editor: My heart sank when I recently learned that the choral program at the Yorkton Regional High School (YRHS) had been cut for the upcoming 2016-17 school year. I was always heavily involved in the music program at YRHS.
