Every once in a while we are clearly reminded that Yorkton remains very much a service centre for agriculture. And without that crucial role the local city economy would be far smaller than it currently is.

Yorkton can be a breeding ground when it comes to rumours, but sometimes when you see smoke there is fire. Of course, there is a lot of smoke and fire in La Ronge and one of the rumours last week concerns that very issue.
