Dear Editor: Kudos to Yorkton This Week and Kathy Morrell for the editorial and the letter to the editor in the November 9, 2011 edition of Yorkton This Week regarding the preservation of the CBC. My thoughts mirror theirs.

If you love to read, you'll know what I mean when I say that some books are like old friends. Even if you haven't seen them for a while, when you do find each other again, you can enjoy their company right away.

Some people think Holly is a fool. Holly is a teacher. Holly is a devout Christ-follower. And Holly, knowingly, married a murderer. In a drug-related incident in his youth, her husband stabbed his drug dealer.

The CFL season is, officially, over now that the BC Lions have defeated the Winnipeg Blue Bombers for the Grey Cup.

Yorkton Council has been going through an interesting process at its last three regular meetings.

One can understand why rural folks might not care too much about the rebuilding of the Saskatchewan NDP. After all, the NDP and the rural Saskatchewan actually began parting ways decades ago.

A kerfuffle is raised every time a comedian, politician, or businessperson uses the F-word or the N-word. I understand that. But to me, the D-word is the most obscene. I'm referring to disposable. Let me explain.

Dear Editor: The reality of violence is that it affects everyone. Violence knows no boundaries. Violence does not discriminate and those of all ages, races and classes may be the victims.
