Circus performances thrill Outlook audiences

Two performances entertained audiences in the riverside community.

OUTLOOK - The circus was in town this past weekend, and despite very little advertising, word of mouth had spread enough on social media for the two shows to proceed on Sunday, April 21 at the Outlook Civic Centre.

Circus Genoa, with a handful of performers, hosted a pair of hour-long shows and impressed attendees with balancing acts, eye-catching dance routines, and some magic wardrobe swaps.

However, it was perhaps the 'main event' of the day that left audiences on the edge of their seats. Setting up a series of targets, a marksman readied his bow and arrow, fired, and watched as the arrow ricocheted off the targets before arriving at its final destination, popping a balloon and eliciting cheers from the crowd.

Outside after the show, people took photos with a Chevy Camaro that transformed into Bumblebee from the Transformers movie franchise.
