PREECEVILLE - The Preeceville Panthers football team faced its first loss of the season when Raymore defeated the young Preeceville squad with a final score of 60 to 39 on September 17 in Preeceville.

“Despite the loss the team played well, and it was just some little mistakes that we will have to go back to the locker room to discuss,” said Jeremy Mattison, one of the coaches. “The offence was great and I think the boys were a little nervous to play in front of a home crowd.”

Players on the team are: Alexander Neilson, Hudsyn Nelson, Porter George, Eric Dodge, Mathew Smythe, Lyndon Gawrelitza, Carter Scheller, Keane Balyski, Isaac Kashuba, Tristan Acosta, Gerbo Javelona, Lexluv Acosta, Floyd Pinaroc, Dixon Paul and Avery Franklin.

Coaches are: Jeremy Mattison, Bill Dodge, James Dodge and Patrick Livingstone The team was scheduled to play a road game on September 24 in Lanigan, followed by a home game against Wynyard on October 6.
