The Sturgis Composite High School hosted senior 2A boys Conference playoffs on November 14. Teams that were vying for top spot to represent their school at Regionals included Cudworth, Muenster, Sturgis, and Norquay.

The Preeceville atoms, novices and midgets kicked off the hockey season with exhibition games. The atoms took to the ice first, taking on Wynyard on November 14. The game was evenly matched with both teams scoring one goal in the first period.

Walking program operating in Sturgis
