Police report that an intoxicated male was found sleeping behind the wheel of a vehicle. When the male woke up, he hit the gas causing the vehicle to accelerate, striking a pole, and then coming to a stop in a field.

RCMP Report: Hit-and-run leads to arrest of intoxicated female
Police were dispatched to a hit-and-run complaint in Canora where an SUV with a flat tire struck a parked Chevy Malibu and drove away. Police located the vehicle parked across town. An intoxicated female was questioned about the vehicle collision but was subsequently arrested for an incident unrelated to the hit-and-run.
