Yorkton This Week - Obituary Archive

Mr. Frank Halliday, beloved husband of Marianne of the tonkin district passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at the Yorkton Regional Health Centre following a brief illness. He was 76 years of age.

Park Foo Mark passed away at St Joseph Health Centre in Toronto, ON. on November 23, 2011 at the age of 77 years. Park was born on February 24, 1934 in the Toisan village of Jook Wu, Chonglou Township, Guangzhou (Canton) province in China.

January 8, 1932 - October 4, 2011. It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our dearly beloved mother and sister, Beverley, of Nanaimo, BC.

Ed, April 5, 1935 - November 27, 2011, aged 76 years was born on the family farm west of Yorkton to Joseph and Katie (Burant). He grew up there with seven siblings.

Rachel was born on November 20, 1921 to David and Dorthea Propp (nee Pister). She was baptized and confirmed at Christ Lutheran Church in Rhein, SK and remained a life-long member of the church.

Anne was born on March 6, 1924, daughter of Vendel and Mary (nee Hegyi) Molnar. She attended a one room school at West Otthon. Anne was united in marriage to Vince Chillog on October 25, 1943 at Holy Trinity Church in McKim.

Lena Repay entered into eternal rest on November 14, 2011 at the Theodore Health Centre in Theodore, SK with her family by her side. She was 89 years of age.

Wilfred Reeves passed away at Yorkton & District Nursing Home on November 13, 2011 at the age of 85 years. Wilfred was born on October 22, 1926 on the family farm (15-30-10-W2, in the R.M. of Beaver), in the Sheho district of Saskatchewan.

Mrs. Josephine Czakler of Yorkton entered eternal rest on Friday November 11, 2011 at the Yorkton Regional Health Centre at the age of 94 (8 days short of her 95th birthday).
