Maulers announce Gordon as new head coach

YORKTON – The U18AAA Yorkton Maulers Hockey Club announced March 8 the appointment of Jason Gordon as the team's new Head Coach. 

The decision comes after an extensive search conducted by a 6-panel hiring committee, showcasing the commitment to finding the right leadership for the team.

Gordon brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record in coaching, making him an ideal fit for the Maulers. His passion for developing young talent aligns seamlessly with the club's commitment to fostering the growth and success of its players.

"We are thrilled to welcome Jason Gordon as the Head Coach of the U18AAA Yorkton Maulers," said Greg Donnelly, Club President, adding, "his dedication to the game, strategic mindset, and ability to inspire young athletes make him an excellent addition to our coaching staff. We believe he will play a pivotal role in the continued success of our program."

Gordon's coaching philosophy emphasizes skill development, teamwork, and a strong work ethic, reflecting the core values of the Yorkton Maulers. As the team gears up for the upcoming season, Gordon expressed his enthusiasm for the opportunity.
