The Yorkton Business Improvement District is gaining new leadership. Starting in 2020, Donna Brothwell will be taking the reigns as executive director from Phil de Vos, who is retiring from the role.

The Canadian Pacific Railway passenger train #41 is leaving Bredenbury, Saskatchewan on June 1, 1960. The train had originated in Winnipeg and was on its way to its last destination, Edmonton.

While I appreciate there are those who have begun to doubt science, I for one am a believer that our future as a planet lies solely with what science can create in the coming years to deal with whatever issues we face.

The Yorkton Secon Maulers are on a bit of a roll. The SMAAAHL team won its second game in a row on Nov. 20, finding themselves on top of the Notre Dame Argos.
