Yorkton This Week

Yorkton music fans will know the name Zachary Lucky from his shows at the old 5th Avenue Cup & Saucer. And, of course the Saskatoon based folksinger has family ties to the area as the grandson of the well-known Smilin’ Johnnie of Wroxton.

It was almost a decade ago Jeremy Lang had an idea for a better cellphone case. It was in 2012 when Lang told Yorkton This Week he recognized plastic simply does not deteriorate in landfills, and he felt then there was an alternative.

The Melville/Ituna RCMP have received complaints from the public of fraudulent attempts to obtain Social Insurance Numbers. The caller falsely represents themselves to be a Federal Agency that needs to verify a SIN.

On October 23rd, 2019 between the hours of 9:00am and 10:00pm, a 2008 White Dodge Ram 3500 was stolen from the Key FN. The truck has a Saskatchewan License Plate 299LKB. There are no decals and it has a deck on the back.

The Yorkton RCMP have received a complaint that culprits are attempting to operate under the identity of Gross Construction within Yorkton and Saskatchewan.

A Honda key with a blue lanyard was turned in the Yorkton Detachment recently. If you can identify them as your's please call the Yorkton RCMP. The keys were found in the Circlebrooke area. Thank you..

Jordan Ironstand has plead not guilty to second degree murder of Colin Focht. The 23 year-old man appeared by video in Yorkton Provincial Court on Oct. 24 in relation to the case.

The Saskatchewan Rush have signed Connor Robinson to a one year agreement. Robinson was drafted 5th overall by the Rush in the 2018 NLL Entry Draft.
