Otthon, Saskatchewan is located north of Melville on the Canadian National Railway line, 17 kilometers from Yorkton. The line was built in 1910 by the Grand Trunk Pacific Railway.

On August 28, 2019 at 10 PM a group of 5-6 youths were seen damaging a scooter in the 100 block of Betts Ave North in Yorkton. The youth are described as 14-16yrs old, 2 females and 3-4 males. One a male was wearing a bright orange sweater.
