Experienced and new paddlers will have a chance to play tug-of-war in the water at the Gallagher Centre this weekend as part of a fundraiser.

The York City Classic is a local institution, as Yorkton Regional High School and Sacred Heart High School join forces to bring together 12 Senior Boys Basketball teams to play against each other. This year’s winner was the YRHS Raiders.

Last November a panel discussion entitled the Farm Fitness and Finance Forum was held at the Grain Millers Harvest Showdown in the city. Among those in the audience was Paul Moore of Yorkton Auction Centre.

Greg Ottenbreit andWarren Kaeding said they’re honoured to serve in Scott Moe’s newly formed cabinet as he takes his first steps forward as Saskatchewan’s Premier. Scott Moe was sworn in as Premier on Feb. 2.
